A-One SAMRAT BAND established in 1963 by our founder of Samrat Band. Samrat Band is one of Delhi’s & NCR finest authentic and first national acclaimed brass band specialized in performing processions at festivals, weddings, and other high profile events. The band group is as big as 200 musicians consisting of musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds, and play a range of instruments including, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, clarinets, dhol & other traditional Indian style leather/fiber based rhythm instruments and percussions. The concept behind the band is based on traditional brass bands from the Indian sub-continent which are an integral part of the Indian culture and play an essential role at any high profile event such as Indian weddings, religious festivals, social events of importance and even jazz festivals, they are regularly seen marching through the towns and villages dressed in their unique eye-catching outfits.
